“Shivali is by far the best makeup artist to work with for your wedding but also any other occasion as well! She is all about what you want and also suggests things based off your skin color or condition of your skin. Patience.... let’s talk about patience... this woman has plenty of it! During my trial bridal makeover I had to bring my 22 month old son with me (who can be quite a handful) and she didn’t mind at all :) Wedding day.... none of us were rushed or pushed to do any thing we didn’t want with our makeup. “Shivali was absolutely phenomenal! My bridesmaids, my mom, and I all have very different skin types, face shapes, and senses of style, but Shivali was able to accommodate all of us while still making sure we all looked cohesive. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and so natural. For me personally, it was really important that I still looked like myself in my wedding pictures. I like glam bridal looks on other people, but for myself I wanted something a little more subtle and understated. Shivali absolutely knocked it out of the park. It was like she took my comfortable and familiar daily makeup and elevated it to new level. I was also really impressed with how long my makeup lasted. I had Shivali start with my makeup first at 11 am, and it all stayed perfectly in place until I took it off at midnight. No creasing or cakeyness at all. Initially I had been worried about wearing falsies to my wedding because I was certain they’d fall off when I cried, but these were 100% tear-proof. On a final note, Shivali herself is an absolute delight to be around. She has a quietly cheerful demeanor that makes being around her really calming. For me, being in her chair was as relaxing as going to the spa. If you’re worried about being nervous on your wedding day and want some peace and relaxation (in addition to flawless makeup), I can’t recommend Shivali enough.”

Shivali paid attention to all the details around her and even made subtle adjustments so that my makeup, jewelry, and dress would all complement each other in the best way possible. We were all so impressed, she exceeded all expectations! She is so talented and I could not recommend her more!”

She helped me plan looks prior to my wedding by doing a makeup trial that went well - she listened to me and it was quickly evident that she is a well-trained makeup artist with alot of experience. She went above and beyond on my wedding day to not only handle the make up of my bridal party and me, but also pinned saris and gave great advice on makeup styles to try. She added to my wedding day in a special way by helping me look and feel beautiful despite having barely slept. She was on-site for my wedding, and turned around makeup for 7 in no time, and my bridal party looked amazing in all of my photos. She coordinated well with my wedding hairstylist and was very punctual (especially important on the big day). To enhance our eyes, she is really great at placing individual lashes (as opposed to a single fake lash strip) — this helped us have a much more natural, yet formal look. I felt like I looked like myself on my wedding day, and in retrospect I am especially grateful for this as I look back on photos of our wedding.”
